Control the controllable.

We take all of the information as it comes. we do no research or googling. all cases are different and it does us no good to fall down a webmd hole.

This how we stay asset-based, positive and present. Mindful.

Brad and I both feel strongly about living our lives as fully and normally right now, as possible. Especially as my meds are a little less intense now (I’ve also been on the anti-seizure meds have been in my system for 3 weeks and I should be getting more used to them soon). And they are weaning me off of the steroids I was on for the post-seizure brain swelling. Thank god - those steroids are brutal on the system.

We don’t know what’s ahead but we can live our beautiful lives of abundance currently and prepare for to greet the suggested medical interventions with a positive open mind. This is not the time to sit down and become a sick person. I want to live and thrive in this beautiful life.

After the delightful donuts and bourbon when we got home from Duke– which was glorious! Thank you,Austin and Alli! We now return to our usual routine of vegetables, lean protein, and whole grains with the occasional treat. My body feels best when I eat that way and I want to fuel myself with foods that can help to fuel and heal my body. I feel good to workout now and keep my body as strong and healthy as possible.

We also plan to follow whatever medical intervention seems like the best option and round that out with healthy food, workouts, and meditation. Cant hurt to attack from all sides.
