Pathology Results

Some news on pathology – from the nurse – hoping to talk to Dr. Friedman, after he sees the pathology results, on Monday.

What we know:

The nurse/patient advocate said: very favorable results:

The tumor is low grade (grade 2) – this is the grade of the tumor, not the stage – to avoid confusion.

The tumor is slow growing (KI index under 5)

I have IDH mutation 1&2 (which is a good thing) – I guess it means I should react better to treatment

We will find out when we speak with Dr. Friedman, but Susan thought that they may want to end up doing surgery to remove part of it after all. There was more swelling than they thought (i.e. more swelling=less tumor)

3 weeks into mostly plant-based diet and we are feeling great! Who knew Brad could survive without chicken wings?!
